Lead Teacher (3yr old)

Part-time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team and work with our 3-year-old students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages the development of each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of 3-year-olds.
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess each child’s progress, and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians on their child’s development.
  • Plan and organize daily activities that promote learning, such as circle time, arts and crafts, music and movement, and outdoor play.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress, including assessments and observations.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan and coordinate school-wide events and activities.
  • Attend parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and other professional development opportunities as required.

  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with 3-year-old children.
  • Knowledge of child development, early childhood education theory, and best practices in teaching young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of each child and the classroom as a whole.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of the students
  • Create and maintain an inviting curriculum that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess each child’s progress, and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians on their child’s development.
  • Plan and organize daily activities that promote learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress, including assessments and observations.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Arabic
  • Mastery of Tajweed
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children.

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking individuals with a background in education to help the school board make informed decisions and serve as a form of checks and balances.
    Responsibilities:

  • Vet ideas the board has for the school with the best future for the school and students in mind
  • Remote meetings, at most twice/month

  • Qualifications (Preferred):
  • 2+ years in a public or private school environment
  • BS+ in Education or similar
